The Reflection shelf is constructed from 1/8" honed 5052 aluminum faced with 1/4" glass mirror. The Reflection Shelf (Sm) hangs from the Rail System from one 5/8" hole. The Reflection shelf is constructed from 1/8" honed 5052 aluminum faced with 1/4" glass mirror. The Reflection Shelf (Lg) hangs from the Rail System from two 5/8" holes. A 1/2" lip along the top of the shelf slides over the rail to provide stability.

The Reflection Shelf is part of the Rail System, a modular storage system that is adaptable to domestic and commercial settings. Conceined as both structure and infastructure, the Rail System organized space through a continuous linear element that supports a family of purpose-built accessories — desk, mirror, shelves, chair, clock, vase, and hangers. Installed as an inhabitable environment, the componenets demonstrate how a single architectural gesture can generate furniture, storage, and utility.
